A hostel not a hotel

My bed creaked noisily as soon as I got on it. Not great for a good night’s sleep. And there’s not much (any) sound insulation. I accept it’s a hostel not a hotel, so you can’t expect hotel levels of quiet or comfort. But €197 is a lot to pay for a hostel…

I had a very comfortable and spacious room with two beds. The price was reasonable, and I didn't mind the shared bathroom. It's worth noting that the rooms in the front of the building can be a tad noisy with traffic from the street, but it wasn't too bad. My biggest concern was that the internet seemed slow and unreliable, constantly cutting out on both of my phones and my laptop, so I had to go to a co-working space down the block in order to get any work done.

A great hostel for the price in a perfect area. Footsteps from the subway and waking distance to most major attractions. I was surprised they even made up my room during the day. Disappointed no soap or cups provided in the room and the air conditioning could not be controlled by me in my room even though I was in a private room. Despite this fact, it only got too cold for me once.

Horrible staff!! Extremely rude and unprofessional. Check in took forever! No one was at the entrance when we arrived for a solid 30 minutes. When the receptionist arrived, he didn’t care and seemed extremely short and unapologetic. The location and room were decent but the walls and street noise were unbearable. Will not be coming back.

Pessimo.

Péssimo isolamento acústico, ouvíamos tanto o quarto ao lado, como o de cima. Sem contar o barulho constante das portas sendo batidas. Tem um informativo falando em horário de silêncio, que seria meia noite. Teve muito barrulho passando da 1hora da madrugada e haviam hóspedes fazendo algazarra e não ouvimos ninguem do hotel contendo. Na parte de higiene, parece que o quarto nao foi bem limpo, havia sujeira no chão, assim como a privada estava com marcas de uso (pegamos o quarto com banheiro privado). Só a localização é boa.

Very nice hostel , forst time had experienced hostel , we had double room private with private bathroom , shower , good spot jus 15min walk to town center, very easy to reach town center always going straight , has Dias supermarket shop just beside hotel so can buy some food or drinks etc.
