First of all, getting in was a pain. You can’t check in till 4:00 and the code didn’t work on the door. We had to wait some time and 3 call backs to finally get in. The room was super cute, quiet and comfortable. There is no shower, just a large tub, which is fine, but the water doesn’t get hot hot enough to fill it and be warm. All in all, we had a great time watching the birds, seals and otters out the big front windows.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such an enchanting view. We enjoyed the birds, including herons, egrets, pelicans and a huge owl, as well as the otters frolicking right in front of our big picture window! We highly recommend the Sail Away room.
