A very nice hotel in Yangon with a fantastic service (Thank you Trista for assisting me with some business matters!) The hotel is fresh and welcoming, the rooms are large with a very nice bed (I slept really well.) The restaurant was excellent and the food (including breakfast) was delicious. They also have a spa with both steam and regular sauna. Lovely for my aching muscles and body. There is also a swimming pool, but I did not use it. I can highly recommend this place.

The area was nice as it was off in it's own corner away from the busy downtown streets, was no issue getting a Grab to go anywhere as well. Staff was always nice and inviting and there was a piano they allowed you to play in the bar area. The bar/club downstairs was interesting but the music they played was extremely loud so we had to sit far in the back away to hear/talk to people.

Hotel staff were always kindness and helpful. When I've faced Wi-Fi connection trouble, they were willing to support it. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing stay. Every evening there was extremely loud music with heavy bass that continued into the early hours, making it very difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep - which impacted the work trip to the country. The spa experience was also well below expectations. Foot reflexology treatment was carried out in what felt like a back office room rather than a dedicated spa. The chair was a standard ikea faux leather and was poor quality, cracked, and did not recline at all. Instead of a peaceful environment, there was constant noise from staff working nearby, which completely undermined the experience. Service was inconsistent. Some staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, but others came across as rude and uninterested, leaving the overall service feeling unreliable. The hotel has potential, but the noise, substandard spa facilities, and inconsistent customer service mean I would not choose to stay here again.

We initially booked for 24 nights. But my daughter and I planned to go for meditation retreat, so we asked the reception if they allowed us to checkout for 10 days and check back in thereafter. They allowed and agreed to what we requested. Overall all the hotel and restaurant staffs have been very polite and nice to us throughout our stay. We felt very welcome and it's rare to see the whole team with such positive attitude towards their services. Well done and we sincerely thank you to all the staffs at Park Royal Yangon for making our stay memorable. Keep up the good work ❤️☺️
