Our room was very nice. The breakfast was very good. It was clean and quiet. We very very happy. Also, the person who checked us in, Maelyn?, was very helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel.

Dirty towels left behind the bathroom door. If you are using any sleep aide machine power outlets are very poorly positioned. Parking is pretty nonexistent except for a small lot across the street. In short save your money and stay somewhere else.

Family trip

Staff were helpful and pleasant when we needed things. We had a suite which was had two bedrooms and had a full sized fridge and kitchenette. Great for a family, except that there was one small couch and a table with only 2 chairs. Another comfortable chair in the big bedroom or living room is needed. There was only one garbage can in the whole suite and no recycling container.

This place has great culture! We ended up in a middle room so no windows but 2 doors. The kids thought it was great. Super close to the Lift Bridge and the Lake Walk. Great restaurants attached and nearby. Room was HUGE and very clean.
Cassandra, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Parking is across the street from hotel. Not very secure. Hotel check in was supposed to be 4pm. We arrived at 445pm and we were told our room wasn't ready. We finally were able to check in around 6pm!!! Ridiculous!!!!!! Rude staff at front desk. The only helpful person was a guy who I believe was the manager. The rest of the employees at the front desk didn't care or seem to have a clue about anything. No one apologized for inconvenience & were not given a discount for anything. We will never be returning here again!
Becky, 1-night trip

This is an excellent place to stay! The area is very walkable and an interesting area. The room was clean and unique. We stayed there to take in the Tall Ship Festival 2025. On check-in the staff didn’t really know anything about the festival. Breakfast both days was disappointing. The food was what we expected, however, the breakfast area was staffed with 1 person. We came down at 9(ish) both mornings to find no coffee and very little food out. The second day was worse, with the garbages overflowing. Coffee was eventaully re-stocked as was the food (most of it). I would stay again.
Don, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

We didn’t use the hotel’s wifi. There was a used towel hanging at the back of the bathroom door and dirty utensils in the dishwasher. The nightstand, tv console and table surfaces were dusty. The tv was not plugged in at the back as well! We’ve informed the guy at the reception right away and he did apologize. But, unfortunately didn’t rectify the situation. We’ve called and requested for bed linens and pillows that took us more than 30 minutes to wait. The guy at the reception said he’ll bring them “when he get the chance.”. There were no other staffs around aside from the two guys at the reception. I have to go down and get them myself as we’re all tired especially the kids, from the long travel. We also took the initiative to at least dust off the surfaces so that we can already prepare for sleep. I was not comfortable and feel unsafe with the parking area as It was across the street and in an open area. Despite of it all, bathroom was new, bed was comfortable and the AC was good!
Enrique, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Great location. Horrible hotel service! Did not get room that was booked, ran out of toilet paper TWICE, room was not serviced/ made up, dogs barking and doors slamming during the night. Didn't have clean towels, wash rags, or hand towels when asked in the late afternoon. Dishwasher was out of service as well. Entrance hall had horrible stench of stale beer, otherwise was able to check in and check out. Won't be staying again!.
Amy, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Hot tub was not working (which happens and I understand). Lady working the counter throughout the evening had terrible people skills and was not helpful. When we got to the room neither shower had shampoo or body wash in the dispensers. One of the light bulbs in the lamp was broken with pieces swept into the drawer. When taking a shower the water was lukewarm at best. Breakfast was decent, but lacking options and not up to the quality I would expect for over 300 dollars a night. We love coming to Duluth, but will likely choose a different hotel next time.

So disappointed

1. This is a totally UN-handicap accessible building! Parking is across a busy street with no stop light. Then must lug bags up steps to get to elevator level. Someone told us about a ramp in the back but it opened onto a paid parking lot and once out the door you couldn’t reenter! 2. No working ice machines. Was told by clerk to go next door to a bar to get ice! 3. “Free” internet was not available for entire stay 4.Only one person staffing extremely busy breakfast buffet which was mostly empty. When asked about it she said she was totally overwhelmed. she was working constantly and not a slacker. Felt sorry for her! A very kind and helpful woman. 5. A/C not working second night in room. Reported it but no service. Staff were all kind and respectful but were put in a terrible situation by management!! All this for over $400/ night!!
Marilyn, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was good, only bad moment was when we opened the sofa bed to use it. No sheets or bedding and the mattress was beyond pee stained.. it was super soiled. It was 11 pm , we called the desk for bedding and pillows and they responded promptly. We didn’t mention the mattress being the hour of night and we wanted to go to bed. The mattress should have been thrown away. They should check them before renting the room.

Good. The front desk guys were amazing. One especially. I wish I got his name. He said he just started recently. He apologized many times for me being patient about our room not being ready on time.

Everything was fine except the gal at the counter said we only had one room when we actually had reserved two rooms. So the other couple with us scrambled to find another room. She really screwed up as we contacted hotels .com later and yes we actually had two rooms. Not good!
