Eastgate hotel is great place to stay whiles on vacation, services was alright, worker's were very respectful, treats you with care and the food was great, but the only thing is the shower was working properly so we use a bucket to take our bath apart from that everything was great, good service.

This was our first trip to Ghana. We had the most wonderful time. An important part of this was our stay at the Eastgate hotel. Frieda and her team could not have been more welcoming. They made us feel at home straight away and were very polite. We took the bed and breakfast option. The cooked breakfast a good start to the day and had fresh vegetables and fruits. A strong recommendation.

I would really like to highlight the incredible staff and customer service at this hotel. It was truly outstanding. My husband unfortunately missed his flight and urgently needed somewhere close to the airport to stay for the night. In the middle of the night we called East Gate Hotel, and they were more than happy to accommodate him at such short notice. Because he didn’t have any phone signal, I asked the staff if they could kindly inform me once he arrived safely. They did this immediately, which gave me so much peace of mind. From that moment on, they took amazing care of him — providing a comfortable room, breakfast, dinner, and even arranging a drop-off back to the airport the following day so he could catch his flight. The whole situation was extremely stressful for us as a family, as so much had happened that was completely out of our control. However, the kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff made both my husband and all of us back home feel reassured and at ease. I would recommend East Gate Hotel a million percent. My entire family has saved their details because we were all so impressed by their exceptional service. Thank you so much, East Gate Hotel. Your kindness truly made a difficult situation so much easier.

This place was okay. Not too bad. Staff was very friendly. A/C was leaking in room and minimal amenities provided (i.e. towels, soap). Breakfast was inclusive and delicious. Pool is a plus.

The staff were not friendly at all. The hotel is dated, spelled horrible. The room I was given was not good at all. Someone could easily watch you shower in the bathroom from the kitchen area. Shower head did not work, I could barely take a shower. I would not recommend staying here at all.

Very friendly staff and room was very clean when I moved in. There was a very bad leak in the ceiling when it rained but staff were very quick to move me to another room that wasn't cleaned so thoroughly. Also disappointed with the fact that no airport shuttle service was offered on Sunday. They claimed the driver didn't come to work on Sundays (even though the information on the hotel did not specify that there was no shuttle service on Sundays).
