8/10 Very good

The hotel does what it should at such a price. The rooms are tiny and only for sleeping in (not hanging out) and most of them have no real windows - beware of this, if you like me are sensitive to lack of natural light. I asked to be moved to a room where at least the bathroom window wasn’t stained, so I could see out and let the bathroom door stay open at night letting the light wake me up in the morning. Otherwise the room was pitch black. Ueno is a lovely neighbourhood ans the staff was kind
