We had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Agra. From the warm welcome with a refreshing drink to the elegant lobby, immaculate room, and outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations.
The only downside—though likely beyond the hotel's control—is the traffic noise (especially the frequent honking) that can be heard while "relaxing" by the swimming pool.
While the hotel’s immediate surroundings don’t offer much to do, it’s conveniently located just 10–15 minutes by taxi from both the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal—quick and very affordable!
A special mention goes to the breakfast buffet, which was the best we experienced among the 5-star hotels we stayed at during our 14-day trip across India.
