Exceeded expectations- which were high! This beautifully renovated historic library is perfectly presented in every way. We stayed in the director's room which was tucked away on the lower level. It was so cozy- just how you may imagine sleeping overnight in a library should feel! Everything is very thoughtfully and intentionally finished. We would have been happy spending the entire stay in the room, but did also venture up to the rooftop for evening cocktails by the fire and morning coffee overlooking Lake Michigan. So many restaurants and shops to explore nearby, and just steps away from the lake. We would love to visit again and will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you for honoring and sharing this space!
