First I have to mention we were there during a heat wave, without that the stay would have been more pleasant. Our studio was on the top floor, so it was really hot. There is no air conditioning, which I knew, but also the shutters on one of the windows were permanently shut, so we could not create a draft to cool down during the night. Some of the other apartments had balconies, so I assume they had better options for airing out. There is a cute little patio at the back of the house, but we did not stay long enough to use it. The Apartment was facing the busy street with the tram, so it was kind of noisy, since we had to have the windows open.
The apartment is very functional, but a bit worn. Everything was clean, this is Switzerland, but there was no love in the place, just functionality.
Getting the key with the automated system worked great and was very easy, good instructions.
Zürich is extremly expensive, so we were glad we found this place so conveniently located, but for the same amount of money in Hamburg, I stayed at a very nice hotel.
