Samir Hotel review

The hotel is in the city center, but not quiet calm because it's located next to a very busy and crowded road. The staff are nice people, the hotel doesn't have an elevator, the room seems to be clean but there are lot of smells, bad ones.

It was lovely to have an airconditioned room all to myself with a private toilet & shower. The location was ideal for everything I was doing and the staff were wonderful. The availability of a breakfast items was also a treat! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone as they travel to Algiers! Thank you :)

Une honte cet hôtel

Dès notre arrivée, aucune réservation n'a été enregistré malgré la présentation du document et la preuve du paiement. Le réceptionniste a dû appeler sa responsable et après 20 minutes nous a attribué une chambre en nous informant que nous devrons gérer cela le lendemain. La chambre était globalement propre Mais les draps dans un état de saleté des draps déjà utilisés avec des poils et un couvre lit rempli de tâches tout simplement une honte ! Une énorme déception ! Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel !

Séjour positif. Hôtel un peu vieillot, et surtout sans ascenseur, ce qui pose quand même problème (bagages, personnes handicapées...). WiFi très faible, on ne peut compter dessus. Dommage. Personnel efficace et souriant, service impeccable. Nous avons même prolongé la réservation.

Hotel Samir

I stayed at Hotel Samir for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful, including the manager who was happy to answwer any questions I asked. The hotel is situated right in ther cwntre of Algiers, convienent for everything. if you walk for 10-15 minutes down the street there is a metro station with stops to all the main tourist sites.

Manque de charme

L’hotel Samur était propre, central, mais pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Alger, la rue Didiuche est l’une des plus polluée et bruyante du fait de la circulation constante sur trois voies ds cette rue. Le service était satisfaisant mais froid et impersonnel. Le petit déjeuner très basique. A éviter pour des séjours touristiques, même si rapport qualité prix emplacement est très bon.

A well located hotel with all commodities

The Samir Hotel is perfectly located to visit the centre of Alger by foot. The rooms are small but fully equiped with air conditioning. Mattresses are maybe a little bit too thin. But the staff is very nice and helpful.

Good hotel in good location

This is a basic hotel that provides good value in the price range. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. Breakfast is basic but the rooms are comfortable and the wifi worked OK. I will happily return there.
