Positives: The room is clean and the bed very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and the receptionist provided good info on where to go and what to do. The hotel is a short walk from good eating places in Psiri and Monistiraki. The area you walk through looks dodgy but we didn't really feel unsafe at any time, even late in the evening. Negatives: The bathroom is tiny, particularly the shower which is less than 0.7m2 and had only a curtain around it. The air conditioning in the room did not work making it quite warm and stuffy at night. Buffet style breakfast was limited and not very appetising.

Very good option indeed!

I picked the place by price, but appeared that also the location was just perfect. There was no need to drive by own car, used metro instead and station was quite close. I liked the lady in reception, who accepted my weird humor and was so so friendly to explain everything I needed to know. Just a perfect employee! Breakfast was the same all day, but enjoyable. Some troubles with AC, but they explained it quite well, as there was 42 degrees outside.

Well located hotel.

A few of us chose this hotel, mainly due to its location which is only 5 minutes from the metro. Pleasant hotel. Quite dated, but more than adequate for our needs. Basic breakfast included. Reception is open 24 hours, which is great and the hotel has a small bar. Our room was at the front of the hotel and there was some early morning traffic noise.

The Athens Odeon hotel rooms were extremely small. The hotel is very old and not in the best neighbourhood. It was priced accordingly. The upside was the hotel was walking distance to everything. The staff were very friendly, the bed was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was good.

Clean basic room

This was a good budget hotel. The room was on the small side but as a solo traveller it was fine for my needs. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was simple but tasty, and the hotel spotlessly clean. I rated the room 3 stars for its small size and basic (albeit sufficient) amenities, but the shower was very small with one of those curtains that likes to hug you - my pet hate :-D. The service was excellent. The location is good in terms of being close to shops, metro and walking distance of attractions. But not for the faint hearted - some of the streets are very run down so may make you nervous, however I didn't feel unsafe at any point and there are some cracking restaurants in easy walking distance. If you want a budget, clean place to stay and you don't intend to spend a lot of time in the room, then I would recommend this.

Average 3 stars hotel. A room with TV, but airconditon contol is limited. But the main problem is tiny bathrrom with the shower. It has been splashed all over floor after each shower with no way to adjust it. Otherwise, you will get soaked. Breakfast is pretty average with cheap pastries and cofee, bolied /scramled eggs and different jams. Sliced tomatoes and pickled olives. Location is pretty good - 5 min walk from Omonia Square.
