Great hotel.

Great hotel, Brian made sure everything was arranged for us and even kept the kitchen open a little late so we could have food after our late arrival.

10/10 Exceptional

The Hotel staff were great for check in. There was a computer Error that I booked a room for 2 but the error was booked under a single room. The staff nicely sorted it out and made a room for myself and my child. Absolutely brilliant. Room was clean and tidy and comfortable. There was a staff member in the bar at 11pm that was so angry with me for no need. I only asked him if he could pour 7up from a big bottle into the wine like the daytime bar staff did. Instead he sold me a small bottle of wine and a small bottle of 7up and said u have to pay for what you get and that’s what you ordered but in an angry tone of voice. It must of bein the late night, Saturday staff

Give iit a miss

We did not stay, we left as it was not what the pictures stated and it was unclean and very run down.

Convenient hotel and friendly, helpful staff

We didn't like the room as it was ground floor but they very quickly changed us to another room. We didn't get clean towels and there was a bag of dirty towels outside the room. We had to ask twice to get clean towels, they probably just forgot the first time. Very friendly, obliging staff.

4/10 Fair

I travel a LOT and I've never seen staff members to be in such a rush to get rid of the guest (!!!)all the way from check-in to check-out! Cant say they were rude but not friendly and I didnt feel welcome at all! Room was very clean, good neighborhood with good enough shops around. The cooked breakfast was nice though the whole setting wasnt impressive for a hotel!

10/10 Exceptional

Punches well above it’s weight in terms of amenity, service provision and location. We had one full day to see the sights and Susan gave us a good steer to maximise our time to see Valentia Is, Portmagee and the Skellig Ring. Also, the bathroom had a great spa bath which worked a treat and the food and bar service were great. Parking out front was no problem.

8/10 Very good

Favourite part was the chef prepared a birthday cake for my wife after they had finished a party of 100 and the kitchen was closed. He not only took the time to get a slice of delicious chocolate cake but he wrote Happy birthday in drizzled chocolate and dressed it up with fresh berries and a candle. Made my wife feel like a queen. This is obviously best place in town.

Quality hotel in Cahersiveen

Solid, reliable hotel on the main road at the west end of Cahersiveen. Reasonably priced restaurant and bar on site. The rooms are at the back of the property, so there is no noise from the road, but still the view was quite good. The price was very fair for this area, and booking conditions flexible. I'll be back.

Good size room, but smelt of old cooking oil throughout. The restaurant area was greasy as well.

Nice hotel at a fair price with a wonderful inclusive breakfast. My only problem was the WiFi didn’t work. Maybe this was just a temporary problem

The location was perfect for us. The staff was helpful and courteous. The Seafood Chowder in their restaurant was AMAZING!! The WIFI was not very good in our room but fine in the restaurant....

10/10 Exceptional

The staff here were excellent from the first impression to the moment I checked out. The food offered was good and worth the time to stay in and eat there. It’s and easy walk to the shops on the Main Street and having a grocery store across the street was great. I would stay here again if ever in the area.

8/10 Very good

Pleasant location, comfortable rooms and excellent food. Very popular for dining with the locals and seems to be the bar of choice for many of them. You can't accuse Ring of Kerry Hotel of being luxurious, but it was more than acceptable. My biggest problem here was wi-fi access, which did not work on arrival, despite several attempts by management to reboot the system. I was told the rooms at the end of the corridor were sometimes liable to service interruptions, and if it didn't work by the second day they had a room to move me into. Luckily one of the younger staff took the problem into her own hands, and had me up and running a couple of hours later. I was connected from then until the end of my stay. I believe the manager was as relieved as I was. It is obvious they cared about the welfare of their guests - a truly Irish sense of being welcome.
David, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Check in was pleasant but I wasn’t asked if I needed help with bags. There’s no elevator! Dinner was very nice and the service was very good. Electricity went out 8.30 and it came sometime after midnight . I was disappointed and surprised that nobody contacted me or other guests to know if we needed anything.
