They are pet friendly, and the rooms are neat and tidy, and clean. I loved the feeling of their sheets.

4/10 Fair

The water was very hot (I steeped tea!), the water pressure was good and the towels were clean. If you think of it as a quirky self-serve room, with no assistance, allow 15 min to 3 hours to check in, bring your own toilet paper and cleaning supplies, it’s totally fine. Some nice bakeries etc. in walking distance. I would love to see the staff there get about 800% more support: training, processes, more staff, clearer communication and role definition, and probably better pay.

A very old building but the rooms are clean, beds are comfy. A good hotel for the price. It was just a last night pit stop before we headed back home and it worked well for 3 of us in the family room.

Older small town hotel

A very nice, older small town hotel above a local pub. Wonderful and friendly staff who were very helpful. The hotel has some history behind it and we enjoyed being a part of a piece of history.

The room was quite basic, but the owner was such a lovely lady. She was really kind and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Don’t expect too much luxury, but if you’re on a budget it’s an amazing choice
