This is a scam. We arrived to the listed property shortly after midnight and no one would answer the phone to let us in. A local asked if we were having problems getting in, said the knew the owner and called them for us. The owner proceeded to tell us that the previous manager of the property was booking rooms and pocketing the money. The worst part was trying to find a room at 1am.

Do not book here. I paid additional to have a shuttle pick us up from the bus from Whittier. I called multiple times and the call went right to voicemail. We ubered to the property where no one was there anyplace. We called Expedia and they could not contact the property manager either. We had to book elsewhere. If we could give negative stars, we would.

This place is a SCAM. We arrived at the address to find a derelict building in a bad neighborhood with sketchy seeming people outside. There was no one available to provide a key. We tried a door, which led down a stair to three locked doorways. We felt insecure, so we left and had to book an alternate hotel. Luckily an Uber picked us up. One star given only because no other choice is provided.

Es Una estafa en toda regla . Llegamos al hotel j y segun nos dijeron a nosotros y al taxista que nos llevo que hacia semanas que estaba cerrado y que el propietario estaba en la carcel. Asi que tengo pagada una estancia en el TURGANAIN INN y hemos tenido que improvisar y buscar de nuevo. Espero ls devolución. Mas los gastos del taxi. Saludos. PD. Tomar nota de bloquear este establecimiento y que no pasen la angustia que pasamos mi mujer y yo ayer dia 1 con el tema este.

Literally a scam? Or closed location? Booked this place back in February and they said they would pick us up from the airport. Bring us to the day of our trip and they’re missing in action. We took a Lyft to the location and no answer at the door. We could see people inside ignoring us. Took a long time to get compensation from Expedia. We were stranded in the middle of the night and had to find somewhere else to stay for nearly double the price. Extremely poor experience.

So we show up at our "hotel" and it's just a neighborhood, the building has a bunch of abandoned cars out front and no parking. I call the hotel's number. No answer. I go knock on the front door many times, no answer. I call again, no answer. I finally go in the front door & it's just a bunch of apartments. I call again, no answer. I call the "hotel" number from another phone & they hang up on me. I call again & they answered. I said I was trying to check-in & didn't know where to go. They said there was a flood and we couldn't stay. I said ok, well will I at least get my money back. And he asks what location? How can you say you've had a flood & not know my location? I gave the location & confirmation number & he acted like he saw it in his system & would get me my money back. It has been 10 days & I still haven't seen the refund. So I have taken it up with my credit card company (when I searched for the charge I found they actually had charged me twice & I hadn't noticed). Never attempt to stay at this "hotel", map the address and look at the place (I wish I had before booking). Luckily another hotel was available for us to stay in as it was now 10pm.

I confirmed while booking that I’ll be landing Anchorage at 10pm. Property manager said you can check-in anytime as you would be provided with a code. I came at property to check front desk as I was not provided the code. There was no front desk. There was no hotel name. Place was too shady and people too. I called property manager 4-5 times no one picked up. I texted them and no reply. I called Expedia and they wasted my 2 hours just investigating the situation. Ultimately after too many to and fro property manager cancelled my reservation because of mix up in reservation. Expedia didn’t help me with reservation and they were just busy investigating the situation and keeping me on hold for 5 minutes, 2 minutes and 3 minutes. At the end, around 12:30 we did another booking ourselves and asked Expedia for full refund, price difference in new reservation and compensation for mental frustration. We told them to email me with everything but still there is no email and no refund. Hotel: 0/5 Expedia customer care: -5/5
