We loved our stay at the gateway motel very clean; staff were amazing we had a very enjoyable time. We had two meals at the restaurant the food was great, and the staff were very helpful we are looking to our next trip to Hanmer and staying at the gateway I would recommend a nice, relaxing place to stay

Great staff on arrival, also asked if we had stayed before which was a yes. Rooms were large with Big screen TV for sports playing that evening. Easy access to town by foot, no car required and Hanmer Springs is a very safe town.

We really enjoyed staying for 2 nights here. The room was big, have all the amenities we needed, very clean, peaceful and staff was very helpful and friendly. The location has great views of the mountains and very close to the hot pools and town center (less than 5 minutes' drive). The tavern/ restaurant has a very nice setting, perfect style/ deco for my husband who is an avid hunter. The staff were friendly and food was reasonably price and very yummy. We really felt relaxed even just staying in our room on the first day and explored the surroundings and town center the next day. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Hanmer Springs.
