Lovely Stay

Sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Château des Tourelles in May 2025. Easy self-check in, with the team being very accessible by text and phone as needed. It was 20 minute walk or so to Vieux-Quebec, with other landmarks. It is an old building with a lot of charm and everything is kept in good working condition.
Kayla, 3-night trip

The room was very large, very clean, very well-equipped.
Alex, 2-night trip

Great location, reasonable price, bright and colourful decor, close to restaurants and shopping just 25 minutes from Old Quebec -highly recommended!

Great find!

This is an excellent find in Quebec City. The location is fantastic. The street has a lot of restaurants, bars, and shopping. And it is just a 10 minute walk from Old Town. Our room had everything we needed and it was quiet and clean. 10/10 and we’ll be staying there again next time we visit!

Budget stay for couples on cool street

The hotel was fine for what we needed. It does not offer the amenities of a chain hotel but it is a clean place to rest your head. Note that the hotel is old without an elevator, which was a surprise for us. Other than that, it’s clean and well located.

Cozy

Small room/bathroom, but so cozy and nice. In the city so lots of walking options. No elevator, no staff on premises. Tight parking, but nice to park off Main Street.

Cute clean auberge hotel. Easy self checkin and awesome service by text! The room was cosy, the bed and sheets very comfortable and the towels crispy. I enjoyed teas in the common area and the Nespresso machine in the room. Restaurants, bars and Carnaval, just couple of minutes on foot. A convenience store is located on street level. I recommend Chez Victor for juicy burgers and cocktails and Bonnet d'âne for brunch.
RAMZI, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

There is no staff on property but they are very helpful if you contact them. There are parking options in near parking garages but be prepared, you might go uphill to the hotel so is you have heavy luggage you might drop them off before park the car at parking garages nearby.
Zahra, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Way too many stairs to carry up our luggage. Blew a fuse in the bathroom and couldn't get assistance until the following morning. Not as pictured!! Paid parking not close and no where to park out front to unload our luggage.
Jayne, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Very expensive for the service you get. Cleaning belhind and under beds and bedside tables should be done!!!
Sophie, 3-night trip

Back Packer Hotel

The staff is VERY friendly and did everything to facilitate. However, this is more like back packer place. The parking is available at a distance. No restaurant (though there are plenty in the area). Room size is small. The most inconvenient part for me was you could hear all the noise if someone is walking in his/her room in the floor above you.
Yasir, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

The access of hôtel and parking was such a mess that I turn around and didn’t even stay
Jean M, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Richard, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Bien situé, mais check-in demandant plusieurs textos et suivis (pour accueil et stationnement). Le processus pourrait être simplifié.
Véronique, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

No complaints about our room, but it was quite unsettling to find this "hotel" has no staff visible on site and offers assistance only by messaging such as WhatsApp. Our interactions with remote staff were fine, and we appreciated having the freedom to use the lounge area and effectively self-cater. But with no one to help us locate our room, we were dragging cases up and down various stairways until we found it. The whole experience was too much like being on a ghost ship. I do not think this is what anything marketed like a hotel should be like.
Mark, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Really appreciated the convenient location - almost everything downtown was in walking distance. Great restaurants and bars all within minutes of the hotel. Hotel itself was cosy and clean - rooms not too big but that was expected being so close to the city centre. The only slight disappointment was l the information before entering the hotel. This hotel has no physical reception - it's all done online. This is not a problem in itself but i was constantly having to ask for information without it being given in one go. E.g room codes for each of the 2 rooms i had booked, code for the front door, the terrace, the wifi etc. Response was usually prompt but just gave an impression of poor organisation.
Kamal, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Stefanie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Pros:Nice cheerful room. New clean shower. Good bed. Great area. Lots of great restos and cafes and a supermarket nearby. Cons: No one from the hotel on site. I would not book a hotel with no staff on site again. It’s not for me.Twice people tried to get by me when I was trying to get into the building. Not very secure. Can’t leave your bags for a few hours after checkout because there is no one there. If these things don’t bother you then it’s fine.
Nancy, 3-night trip

Amazing location, easily walkable to the old city. The rooftop is a must. Parking garage is up the street. Very Clean. Will stay here again next time I’m in Quebec City. Hostess was very communicative and informative. Great overall stay.
