The hotel is older and outside need a maintenance. The beds are comfortable and linens are fresh. Carpets are newer and clean but floor is squeaky when you walk , washrooms need a big maintenance as paints are cracked. But over all good, needs improvement inside the guest room. The receptionist is nice and friendly . We can stay here again .

The room had the best view of the creek and mountains! The bathroom is a little outdated, but everything else in the room was fine and really, you're only there to sleep for the most part - and the beds were super comfortable! Also, the motel is very convenient to downtown Canmore and grocery stores. Quick walk down the street and you are there. Little bit on the noisy side, but overall, a good place to stay.

The Drake inn is a little bit old but its maintenance is good. The staffs are awesome, very seeet, specifically the lovely lady who works from 5pm to 10pm. Also, the included parking is what makes it stressful free. It’s close to town, where its walkable to restaurants, shops, and trails.

Great cheap place to stay during the winter months. The rooms have been freshly renovated and the outside just got a fresh coat of paint (summer of 2025). The pup has excellent food and amazing staff. The inn is within walking distance of downtown and lots of restaurants.
