Close to everything for walking to and comfortable

This historic hotel is pleasant and easy to like, in a great location. Being of its' age, it lacked the modern amenities of a newer hotel, such as USB ports for charging our phones and ample outlets, but the spacious room made up for it. We felt safe and slept well in a comfortable bed. The location was the best part, on the main street filled with shops, cafes, and the old church near the top of the hill, plus the old mine nearby, so we walked everywhere.

Fantastic location in the town and a lovely decorated room in keeping with its history. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had a few issues. The bed was not good resulting in significant rolling towards the middle. The shower head kept falling and would not stay in place. Great that we had a kettle and coffee/sugar but no milk and no spoons to stir. Breakfast had a limited selection compared to other hotels in Norway and the hot selection was cold by 9am, the same selection was still on offer an hour later. All in all a poor experience

Ett anrikt hotell med unika rum i dom gamla byggnaderna som är på innergården. Det är tyst och lugnt. Frukosten har vad man förväntar sig och mer där till. Nära till parkeringen som är gratis. Mycket vänlig personal. Ett hotell som man vill återkomma till när man är i närheten.

Hotellrommene er i gamle hus og man må ta det deretter. Helt ok rom. Middagen i restauranten var veldig bra, helt ok frokost. Det var et fint opphold.

Sentralt og behagelig

Vi bodde i Uldvarefabrikken (med hund) og rommet var pent og reint, samt stille og rolig. Uldvarefabrikken er da også ett av få bygg i området som ikke er i tre, så vær oppmerksom på det dersom man ønsker å bo i trehus. God frokost og hyggelig personale. Gøy med gamle avisartikler på veggene om Uldvarefabrikken, samt kart i vinduskarmen som fortalte litt om hva man kunne se ut av vinduet. Veldig sentralt. Litt knot å finne fram til parkeringsplassen før vi fikk bedre anvisninger fra resepsjonen.

We chose the right place to stay in Røros

All the staff were lovely and friendly. The location was perfect in the middle of the old town, close to what we wanted to do and see. Breakfast was good, dinner was excellent. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good but the doors leaked a little as they didnt close properly. Wifi in the room was very poor but fast in the main building.

Pris og kvalitet står ikke i forhold til hverandre

Beliggenhet veldig bra. Betjening blide og vennlige, men møtte kun en som snakket norsk. Rommet var rent, men veldig veldig nedslitt tregulv - virket uhygienisk. Dette stedet har svært gamle tre bygninger som er sjarmerende, men vedlikehold av rom er likevel nødvendig! Rommet var overmøblert med lite passende møbler og mørkt. En verandadør vendte ut til en liten balkong, som også hadde dør til et annet rom - altså ikke greit å ha døren åpen om natten - ingen vindu i rommet. Prøvde bytte men hotellet var fullt. Våre venner fikk et langt større lysere og hyggeligere rom . Vi betalte lik pris! Hadde prisen på rommet vært halvert ville det vært greit- vi betalte alt for mye! Middagen også veldig dyr. Kommer ikke tilbake dit, nei. Litt overrasket over at Hotels.com anbefaler dette stedet.

Midt i det historiske kvarter i Røros, så super beliggenhed. Parkering ok, men det kniber lidt med skiltning og plads. Store værelser med køkken, når man bor på Uldfabrikken, der ligger 30 meter fra hovedbygningen. Restaurant ok, små portioner(meget små) og lidt til den dyre side, men det er jo Norge. Vi have bestilt bord og blev bænket, derefter skete der intet i 14 min. øvrige borde blev betjent med vand og vin osv. var det gået et min. mere havde vi forladt restauranten. Værelset ok, men sengen trænger til opdatering. Vi havde dobbeltseng, hvor vi konstant begge faldt ind i et hul mod midten.

Vi hadde et fint opphold på Vertshuset. Perfekt beliggenhet i Kjerkgata. Endte opp med en familielighet med to soverom og kjøkkenrom. Bra base for å utforske Røros.

Hverken resepsjonspersonalet eller servitørene snakket norsk. Betjeningen i restauranten virket urutinert. Vi ba om å få kjøttet lite stekt (rare), men servitøren insisterte på medium rare, noe som blir feil når det dreier seg om indrefilet av rein. Maten (som smakte utmerket) ble servert før bestikket var lagt på bordet, og vannet ble servert like før vi var ferdige med å spise. Rommet var komfortabelt, med to gode lenestoler, men sengen var for myk for oss.

Bon séjour

Séjour agréable dans cet appartement pour 6 personnes (nous étions 3). Manque un peu de vaisselle, cela allait à 3 mais nous aurions été 6 non. 4 assiettes creuses et 1 plate cela suffisait à peine à nos habitudes de français mais cela correspondait à la table de repas (pour 4). Petit déjeuner buffet copieux et avec queques produits locaux. Une lunch box à 150 NOK que l'on rempli soi-même avec les éléments du petit-déjeuner.
