Hotels in Mentougou

First of all when I arrived hotel I thought it was mistake,location is too far from center beijing, but found out it was good, actually I visited Beijing Zoo by subway , very accessible, not too far. Takes Subway line 16 ,and 7stops and transfer to line 4, and 8 srops it was great to visit Zoo...not bad at all.... And hotel was very clean and room was hot so told front desk and they brought potable Fan and Jack sent an house keeper and fixed problem in no times.. Food is great. Breakfast ...

There is a lot of competition for hotels in Beijing. This one lives up to its status as a luxury hotel. The decor is spectacular, filled with lacquer, silk, and original artwork. The staff is incredibly professional. I did have a problem with the wifi and the staff went out of their way to solve the problem. And the location is really good, not far from historical/cultural sites, restaurants, and a metro stop.

The hotel itself is very nice and clean The staff are very friendly with the exception they really don't speak any English so even the simplest things they don't understand I did pick the property because it said they speak both English and Chinese but they're English is very very limited if at all and then even in all of China when you use a app to translate to Chinese they still can look at you funny and don't really understand it so I'm not sure what the translation does but it's not as...

Was in China for a week, spent the first two nights in Beijing prior to leaving to Chongquig on business. Chose the JW Marriott because of the location. Short cab ride to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The JW Marriott Central exceeded my expectations for cleanliness, staff training, and modern decor of the room. The electrical outlets in the room even accommodated US electrical outlets. On the way back from Chongquig, stayed at the JW Marriott again and upgraded to an executive suite....

Location is great. Walking distances to breakfast, shopping and more. However, we were disappointed on cleanliness for the room. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. however, we saw blood stain in bathtub, and it were there all 3 nights we stayed..

Great hotel

Took my first abroad business trip and was concerned about language barrier. No issue. Everyone at the hotel spoke good English. All employees of this hotel were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Definitely stay here when I come back.

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Shangdi. It is located about 10 minutes from the subway station, of the same name. In addition, there are various restaurants, a supermarket and a 7 Eleven close by. There is also a Walmart Supercenter two stations away at Zhichunlu (exit B). The room was clean and comfortable, and the wifi worked great. Once you sign in, you receive a 7 day account. I did not watch t.v., but the bathroom was nice and there was plenty of hot water each day....

Hotel is at great location, about 35 - 40 minutes from the airport in light traffic. Hotel itself is in very good condition. Staff is very professional and helpful. We tried the Char grill restaurant. The wine selection covers all ranges, starting from $50. The steaks are very well prepared and cooked, although at bit pricy at $60 - 70. Overall, we had a great experience at the Sunworld Dynasty Hotel. We book Executive level rooms with the breakfast. Upon arrival we found out that Executive level rooms are allowed to have breakfast at the main hotel dining facility with a large breakfast buffet or at the Executive lounge. The executive lounge was a much smaller selection for breakfast but was a quite setting with a little more personal attention. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent. There is a nice mall (Wang Jing Walk) with restaurants just around the corner. Starbucks is downstairs and Pete’s is in the mall.

It was 1 am, and after being sent to a different hotel for my layover (reserved by the airline), and finding it inhospitable (mice/rats/mosquitos/roaches!!!)...I went onto travelocity and found the Kempinski hotel and within minutes booked it and took a taxi there....it was a complete turnaround from the previous hotel!!!! I was so exhausted from my long travel, and the staff was so friendly, and helpful--the kind of customer service that is rare to find these days! I will always book here at...
