The positives: As a whole, the hotel is clean, the bartender was kind - he gave us free water, the outdoor patio area was nice, and I appreciated the water bottle station in the gym, as well as the free parking.
The negatives: The spring mattress is old and saggy; the rooms are loud - I heard every person walk by our door, and the weighty doors slammed closed; there's no coffee maker or other amenities in the room; no one from housekeeping or the front desk acknowledged us or offered us water, towels, etc.; the only water provided were the small bottles in the room at check-in; we checked-in at 11pm and seemingly woke up the front desk agent who shared very little hotel information with us; there was mold in the shower; the breakfast buffet was okay, but they only served Folgers coffee, and the eggs were strangely watery.
It's one thing to expect a less-than-great experience if the pricing reflected this, but this hotel is on the higher end and I suspect, far underperforms other, less expensive hotels in the area.
