I would recommend staying here! Not only is there so much to do in this area the hotel was great. The breakfast is yummy, the rooms are clean, check in was easy. Onsens are clean and they provide you with shampoos and other amenities. Anytime we went there was never more than 2 or 3 people at a time. For Americans the no clothing wasn’t really weird. You can cover up with a towel and go to the more private baths in the back. They provide ramen and popsicles in the being which is nice. We loved staying here. Senso Ji temple is really close. If you want culture and shopping without all the hustle and bustle of being in main city Tokyo, Asakusa is a great place to be.

This is a beautiful hotel! Staff were professional, if they didn't speak English it was easy to communicate with a translation app. The neighborhood is perfect, lots of shopping, restaurants, and bars nearby and a beautiful temple, and close to public transit.

The customer service was excellent. Not a good location. Super crowded during the day but deserted in the evening and did not feel comfortable walking alone at night. Hotel was far from the train station and it's not a major train station so inconvenient to go places. No elevators in the train station. There were up escalators but no down escalators so hard to carry luggage.

Incredible property very centrally location to Asakusa. It’s practically right next to Sensō-ji, and very close to tons of fun food and shopping. The onsen is phenomenal. The natural hot spring, sauna, and different temperature baths were wonderfully relaxing, as were the massage chairs and post-spa popsicles. I very much appreciated the Japanese decor and tatami mats throughout the property. I can’t wait to stay at another Onyado in Kyoto!

The hotel is amazing with tatami floors throughout. The facilities are also exceptional. It’s very close to restaurants, shops, shrines and train stations. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely!

We loved that there was an onsen in the hotel. It was a really nice way to start and end the days. The location was great next to a market and temple and good cafes. If you have tattoos, you can ask for cover ups for them at the front desk. This was great to have as an option so we could use the onsen.

This beautiful and comfortable hotel combines authentic Japanese tradition with all the modern amenities. We stayed 4 nights and were always so relaxed and happy, enjoying every bit of our time in the hotel. The staff are fantastic throughout the hotel, from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping teams. Thoroughly impressed!
