Upon checking into the room, the staff member was very polite and kind. However, once we entered, we noticed that the shower curtain had mold on it. The overall appearance of the room did not reflect its $500 to $600 price tag. In addition to the moldy shower curtain, the bathroom was not clean, with hair scattered throughout. I called the front desk to request a new shower curtain and to inform them about the bathroom's condition.
A staff member came up, acted somewhat awkwardly, and handed us the new shower curtain without saying much. It seemed he expected me to replace it myself. Shortly after, a woman arrived to change the shower curtain for us. We also requested clean towels, but when we received them, they had dirt spots on them. We asked for more towels, but they were never delivered.
Though we had planned to stay for two nights, we checked out early on the second day due to something biting us in bed; we discovered a bed bug. Overall, while the front desk staff were wonderful, the room service and maid service were unfortunately not up to standard.
