We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are modern and spacious, with a pleasant garden view at the back. Having the communal kitchen amenities available was excellent too and we used their outdoor patio area to sit, read, swim and relax. Staff were lovely and let us stay whilst waiting for our afternoon transfer. The walk into town was fine, not too far.

Modern, clean property within short driving distance of the town. My only criticism is the lack of accessible power points for charging phones and other gadgets. There was a single power point in the bathroom only.

Loved the communal kitchen environment. Lots of appliances. Great laundry facilities. Improvement- some maintenance jobs needed to be attended to. More secure screen door. Not just mesh. I will definitely return to this facility, My time was shared with teenagers and daughter, so perfect.

Staff was accommodating when found though reception seemed to always be locked when needed. Room was comfortable, modern & maintained. All appliances worked. Pool was a hit. Loved that the dryer was free. Louvred window in bathroom was positioned in the shower - no privacy - the bathroom is at the front of the room alongside resort walkway.

This room was fine. I wish there was someone there at the reception when we arrived. I was after 5:00 pm. They left the key in the safe and I saw two keys in there with two different room numbers. I opened one, and someone was in there!

I was very impressed with Birch Resort. It was very clean and well maintained. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated. It was convenient to have the well-equipped shared kitchen area to prepare meals if you wished and laundry on site. Overall a great choice for a reasonable price.

Walls are very thin which made it hard to sleep as we could hear other people all night. Very few amenities - only one tiny bottle of combined shampoo/conditioner. Staff were nice though.
