CLEAN & Easy

This is a no frills hotel BUT it’s clean and easy! It has the best beach access with walk throughs on the first floor that go right out to the pool and then directly to the beach. That + Clean … just right! There is only ONE improvement this hotel really needs to consider…an in-room washer and dryer. Take out the closet and replace with the washer with the dryer on top. PERFECTION!

Great stay

This was our first time to stay here. It was perfect, 8 min away from Pier Park. Far enough to not be part of the crowd, close enough to enjoy the shopping. The hotel was great. The beds were comfortable, the view was excellent, staff was helpful and friendly. The only downfall I'd say was not enough towels [3] or toilet paper[1]. We loved the fact that our room was ground level. Walk in front door and out the back door to the pool and ocean. The beach was very clean. Hotel was quiet at 11pm, when pool closed. We will definitely be back!

The customer service was very good. The employees were very friendly and hospitable. The hotel is very run down and needs to be remodeled and updated. The room we stayed in did not look like the pictures on the website. The room was very small especially for a family of 4. The room was clean though so no complaints there.

Room was nice but due to the wall being between the beds the front bed was HOT had no air. NO balcony chairs. Parking SUCKS!! NO WIFI and asked but was told it was working and 4 grandkids had nothing to do at night. A cartoon channel should be offered also. Enjoyed it being away from the main town but worried about my car across the street all night.

Terrible. All this place has going for itself is the price in an otherwise uber expensive area. However this does not at all excuse it from being poorly kept. The parking is terrible and lacking immensely. The air conditioner does not regulate, the water stinks and there is absolutely no light inside the rooms. The outlets are loose and heater you plug in hangs out and sparks when removed. The trash bins outside stink. Every thing seems patched and band aided. The entry door has to be slammed to close. It is not worth the price. I don’t know how this place received 8-10 stars on this app.

Nightmare @ SugarSands

Room roof was moldy and actively leaking and had to sleep there for two night before moving to a new room. The new room had stopped up sinks and ac was not working then the room internet was out. Porch was awful from all the standing ac water mold and stunk.
