The place was well situated and nice but low staffed. The pictures show a bit more vibrant bar, dining and patio area. The front desk person was covering for the bartender for instance. But they were very helpful. The front desk person helped take my heavy bags up the steps which was a big relief. Francesca was super helpful both in the bar area and the restaurant. The food was good for dinner and a nice breakfast. Would be nice to turn the bright lights out for dinner and use the chandeliers and candles that they had for each table. Great area

Very historic and old world flavor hotel, excellent staff with kind hospitality and great food. Very close to Villa Nobel, the sea and gardens. It is not a 5 star hotel but you get more than what you pay for. Many Northern European guests but locals like to eat here.

Villa Sylva is a lovely old property with a gracious golden-age vibe. Staff were helpful and our room was incredibly large and accomodating. Unfortunately, the spa was out of order at the time of our stay, so we weren't able to fully enjoy.
