The front end staff were very pleasant and helpful as were the staff at breakfast. The hotel is in a good location in Nanaimo. There was a variety of food offered at the continental breakfast. My main issue was with the rooms, specifically the bathroom. It was dirty and very evident that the cleaners did not clean the toilet from the previous guest. Housekeeping needs to do better than that.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Stay in Nanaimo! We had a wonderful time staying here with the family! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we checked in, making us feel right at home for our whole trip. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms every day, which was such a nice touch and made things so much easier while traveling with kids. Breakfast was included and delicious — a great way to fuel up before a day of exploring. The location was perfect too, just a short trip from a great crabbing spot, so we got to spend an afternoon out on the water catching crabs, which was a highlight of the trip! Overall, a clean, comfortable hotel with genuinely kind staff and a super convenient location. Highly recommend for families visiting Nanaimo — we'll definitely be back!

Very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean as well with lots of towels. Generally speaking a nice place. No coffee or tea in the room, I got coffee in the breakfast room, very minor annoyance. Breakfast was ok, the chhese omeletts goid, some bread and bagels, coffe, decaf coffee was a nice touch, did not check the jam selection, batter for pancakes. Staff very frindly and helpful.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The only downside was that during the night there was an unpleasant smell coming from outside the hotel, which was noticeable and affected the comfort of our stay. Fortunately, this seemed to be an outdoor issue rather than a problem with the hotel itself. Despite that, we had a good experience and would consider staying here again.
