The bedroom space was huge. A big refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave were all present apart from the tv with ample channels and even, music stations. Staff were always helpful. Downtown was nearby. Old town isn't that far. Aurora Borealis can be seen nearby.

We stayed 2 nights at the Nova Inn. The rooms were dated with lost of scuffs, scrapes and drywall repairs in process. There was also a large AC unit on the floor with pipes going out the broken window. That being said, the room was clean, the staff was great and the Wing Freak restaurant was great

pretty dingy in need of major reno, there were at least 3 fights with major profanity that went on all through the night, so very noisy and hard to sleep, on the plus side there is a great independent restaurant on the third floor called Wing Freak, don’t let the name put you off, it is very good

Old hotel for sure in need of some repairs and updates. Good location to downtown, however being downtown comes with homelessness issues. Seems the hotel doesn’t have enough parking on site and 0 zero amenities. Attached restaurant was good but no discount for hotel guest or breakfast/coffee included. Highly recommend coming to Yellowknife to experience the true Northern lifestyle.
