This property is on the beach with somewhat old sunbeds but the beach is kept clean. Those who complain of hotels with same old same old menu, they need to stay at this resort. Those you like Eat as much as you like, Giftun is a heaven sent resort. Truly amazing place to spend a vacation.

I read many reviews and was at first hesitant, but I went there and was very pleasantly surprised. The resort is older, but it has a charm to it. The food is good and there are a lot of choices. My junior suite was enormous. When you combine the cost and what you get, this place is a bargain. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

The property is a bit ran down, rooms are clean however the bathroom water smelled extremely bad in my room. The beach and pool are very nice. It's a shame that no women are employed in service. I think it's good that hot water is generated via solar, but unfortunately there was no hot water available in the evening, especially for events. At events such as Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, they showed their very best side. All service staff wore shirts, food was great. In normal operation, unfortunately, spices were dispensed with and food was lukewarm. Drinks were only available in all you can eat sugary ones drinks. The providers for water sports such as diving or massages were the most expensive providers in the whole of Hurghada. For my needs I would not book the hotel again. I would take a hotel with only breakfast, during the day on the day trips there is always lunch and in the evening you can eat well and cheaply in restaurants.
