We checked in late, around 2130, check in was very easy and provided us food before the bistro closed in the hotel at 2200. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We left before breakfast was served but we were able to take bread and cold cuts as well as coffee with us. One of the best places we have stayed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a fantastic hotel! How do you describe a perfect hotel? For us, it’s one that gets everything right — and the Quality Hotel in Fredrikstad certainly did! The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Fredrikstad, just minutes from the bus station, around 10 minutes from the train station, and only about 5 minutes from some fabulous restaurants. From the moment we walked through the doors, we received such a warm welcome. The lobby area looks amazing, and check-in was incredibly easy. The lady at reception was so helpful and understanding. English wasn’t her first language, but that didn’t stop her from making sure we had everything we needed. She even advised us on the best place to park, just two minutes from the hotel entrance — very useful when you’re trying to avoid the traffic wardens, who seem to be the same everywhere… vultures! 😂 Our double room was fantastic — really spacious, with a lovely, comfortable double bed, two armchairs, a dressing table, plenty of wardrobe space and a full-sized bathroom. Everything was absolutely immaculate. And then there was the breakfast! 😍 There was such an amazing array of food that it would be impossible to mention everything. What really impressed us, though, was the fantastic choice available for people with dietary requirements. My wife and I both have gluten and dairy intolerances, and the range of options available to us was honestly something I have never experienced in a hotel before. There were so m

Overall, the property is fantastic. It is about 10 minutes walk from the station, 2-3 minutes walk from the river and all the restaurants. The room was super nice, clean and descent sized. The only thing that left a bit if bitter taste in our mouths was they made us pay for the coffee in the lounge and they wanted to charge us per hour for late checkout. Nothing too bad. But felt like nickeling and diming. We enjoyed our stay immensity.

Probably we were unlucky with the room, but my wife suggests to rename the hotel to "Average Quality Hotel Fredrikstad". - The room was in a poor condition and needs renovation: broken mirror, ugly door in the bathroom, overall quite dirty - It was a bit chilly outside and no kettle in the room to drink tea. We were suggested to pay extra and upgrade to Superior if we want it. There was a coffee machine on the ground floor. - It was cold in the room. There was a device on the wall which probably supposed to regulate ventilation but it did not become warmer regardless of what we did with it. - A few other things... - Nice breakfast, convenient location

Palveluita, kuten saippuat, shampoo ja rasvat oli vähentynyt yhteen saippuaan aikaisempien vuosien valikoimasta. Huoneen kassakaappi ei ollut käytössä.

Fint "vanlig" norsk hotell. God størrelse på rommene og gode senger. Hyggelig betjening og sentral plassering. Standard frokostbuffet. Kort åpningstid i baren.
