Our booking was to include a balcony with chairs and a table. The room we were given only had a balcony a foot wide. We were booked in for four nights but they could not move us to a balcony room for two nights . We decided not to move as we would have to pack and unpack again. In compensation, the hotel gave us two nights dinner for free. The receptionist Carla did all she could to help us and has our thanks.

Necessiterebbe ristrutturazione e una migliore manutenzione, allo stato attuale ha un po’ il fascino d’altri tempi. Posizione irripetibile, vero punto di forza. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Le porte delle camere sono molto rumorose, le serrature elettroniche -nuove - spesso non funzionano. La colazione Ăš stata molto arricchita rispetto ad anni fa, ma si potrebbe fare meglio. Nel complesso comunque buono e tornerĂČ.

The hotel is an easy 10/10!! The property is gorgeous and conveniently located to the piazza and a hiking trail. The resturaunt is definitely one of the best ones on Mondello strip as well!The pool was lovely and we used it everyday, they also have ocean access too. I stayed for 5 nights and six days with 3 travelers, we were properly accommodated. The staff were very helpful with any needs or questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Sicily!

Amazing on Mondello Bay

Wonderful oceanfront location. Walking distance to shops and local restaurants. Friendly checkin and room staff. Breakfast buffet and other menu choices at the restaurant were fantastic. Restraunt and bar manager was lovely and patient with my limited Italian language skills. Looking forward to returning to the Splendid.

Boa experiĂȘncia

Viagem em casal. A estrutura do hotel é boa, possuem estacionamento para hospedes, pois nao consegue aproveitar o local sem alugar carro. Piscina boa, mas achamos estranho ser com agua salgada. O quarto é bom, o banheiro precisa de uma melhoria, principalmente na ducha que molha o banheiro inteiro. Os moveis da varanda também precisam de uma atualizaçao. O café da manhã é excelente e bem completo. O restaurante do hotel é caro para jantar, comparado com os valores praticados em Palermo.

Strange issue that pool is closed during hottest part of day 1330-1600..this may be off season - good bus connection to Palermo which means you don’t have to take your car into city madness Negative - parking is a problem. Tight not sufficient and full of places to scratch car on walls - there is parking in front of hotel if you want to risk it but you have to pay from June to Sept in high season
