The best thing about this hotel is the location--it is close to most of the main downtown attractions, and beside the river with the walking path. Yet it is also in a nice quiet location. Use of the pool and hot tub at the hotel next door is included as well.

There is easy access to ski areas via free buses to all of the big three areas. Also, this place is located right in the town so you can walk to virtually everything. The only thing you can't walk to is the hot springs in the gondola which I believe have a public bus to as well, however the hot springs has been closed for months.

Room was a good size with large bed, separate sofa & table/chairs. Decor is older style & room in good condition. Amenities included drip coffee machine, refrigerator. There was a microwave available in common area on the floor (3rd) & there was coffee/tea & water facilities in the lobby. Happy with my stay at Bow View Lodge & well suited for my visit to Banff
