Beautiful hotel, exceptional staff, quiet location, food was very good, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, had a garden view so was quiet in the evening. Some lovely restaurants close by and about 45 min walk to old town.

Stylish clean luxury in a great location

Beautiful, clean and stylish hotel. Wonderful pool areas and great to have the beach and beach sunbeds right in front of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinner buffet was also superb with so much choice and very tasty. I really enjoyed the yoga class and the aqua aerobics. The evening entertainment was great. The hotel is close to lots of good restaurants and is also close to Rethymno Old Town (40 minute walk or €7 taxi) which is beautiful.

Best hotel stay we’ve ever experienced

I travel often for work and holidays and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. My husband and I agree without question that the Nautilux was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The location and property are absolutely stunning. They have the cleanest pools and a breathtaking beach spot for guests. Every single staff member was wonderful, going out of their way to help us out when needed. One of the managers visits with each group at some point during your stay to ask for your feedback and genuinely wants to know what could be better. We wish we’d booked a longer trip!

we loved our room which was the duplex. the Jacuzzi was a great addition to the room, especially that the weather was not warm enough to be in the beach or pool. breakfast and dinner were superb. hotel is very comfort, clean and very friendly. highly recommended.

Nice facility with room for service improvements

Overall good, however a couple of improvement opportunities: 1) Supposedly it’s an adults oriented hotel, and the limit is 12 years. Unfortunately, lots of kids below that age. 2) Service by the pool area is varying in quality - from acceptable to poor. Staff seemed untrained and uncoordinated plus many don’t speak English that well. 3) Breakfast service acceptable, but not great. The process of refilling the empty food bowls could be improved.

The hotel was fantastic, it is all still very new and in great condition with very comfortable sun beds and good amenities in the room. The standout was the staff - they were all so friendly and went above and beyond, without being pushy. The area is very convenient with lots of restaurants on the doorstep and the old town a 45 min walk away. Would definitely return.

Had a wonder 3 days at the resort. It is a stunning hotel and laid out beautifully. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive and the resort was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Just a couple of points to be aware of. When wet, the pool area is extremely slippery and dangerous when walking in bare feet. Also it is a 45 min walk into the Old Town and availability of cabs from the resort was limited.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel is newer and is very clean. Excellent location on the beach. Breakfast was good with lots of selection. Internet is spotty. The hotel is under staffed which causes delays in valet parking and the breakfast hot meal items. Room controls and safe need better instructions of how to use on arrival. Otherwise no complaints. Definitely worth staying here.

I could mentionne names but is too many to recognize for their kindness and how helpful they are. I arrived bang up form the Samaria Gorge and they help me get back on track. Thanks to all of them.
