Basic room but ticked all the boxes for a few nights in Auckland while having a girls weekend. Plenty of room, decent bathroom, quiet, $15 continental breakfast if needed. Only gripe was my mattress in room G4 needs upgrading. It's past its prime with sagging area in the middle & uneven lumpiness in the middle. I still managed to sleep well after finding the right spot to settle but definitely needs seeing to. If walking from the cbd the hotel is up a hill so easy to walk down but if unable to manage the climb back an uber is recommended.

Nearly every year we have an early train or flight so when living in Geelong it is better stay overnight. The Alto is perfect for us just up from Southern Cross station and good selection of eateries. Room is comfortable and has all amenities. We greeted by Ayush who remembered us. He is friendly and very helpful.

I had 2 double rooms side by side on level 4 one room was perfect clean and well maintained Other had issues with shower screen that would fall off the top and had a mould around the base Rooms were generally quiet was woken by yahoos in the adjacent laneway as it echoed upwards however no tram noise Large fridge microwave and dishwasher with good utensils Would stay here again close to Southern Cross station and tram stop
