The fleece was a lovely place in the middle of a lovely town. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and kind. The food was great and the walkability and tranquility of the area can't be beat.

We had a very lovely twin room. The room contained every facility you could wish for, and some. The food in the restaurant (including breakfast) was superb and the service throughout the hotel was second to none. Wanted to bring my husband next time for his birthday but the date is limited to a two night stay so very disappointed that this time, I can’t.

We were expecting a great experience, as it said it was a five star hotel on Expedia. It definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel. The check in staff was rude, the sheets & pillows had stains & tears and it was very loud in our room from the restaurant downstairs as well as from other rooms. We would stay elsewhere if we visit Cirencester again.

Nice hotel and location but needs a good clean

Hotel was a great location and the bar was great. Breakfast was nice but the full English could be bigger, you get one of everything, 1 egg, 1 hash brown etc… What let the hotel down for us was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was dated and unclean, the shower needed a good scrub and the kettle, coffee machine etc in the room were covered in dust. I asked about another room but they were fully booked so this was not available. It’s a lovely hotel but the bathroom needs updating and a good clean, this is is pretty basic.

Canadians at a wedding!

We flew overnight from Canada for a wedding on the day we arrived! We had missed breakfast but bacon sandwiches were served up to keep us going. The staff were very friendly and the service was great We were travelling with five friends and we all had a wonderful stay. Each of the rooms was unique and the breakfast was very tasty. We also had several delicious meals in the restaurant. If I get back to Cirencester I will definitely stay there again.

Parking was expensive and off the premises. The food in the restaurant was terrible. I think the chef must have been taking a night off. Undercooked belly pork (replaced, but then appeared to have been grilled) and overcooked fish.

Air conditioner needed in the bedrooms. We could not sleep because the room was so hot. The windows would only open a tiny amount and the wee fan could not cope. very expensive for very poor level of comfort. NEVER AGAIN.

The staff, location and breakfast was very good. The bed was not comfortable at all. The weather was very hot and the room was not prepared for that. We couldn't open the window as it was a first floor and was noisy outside.
