This hotel stay was one of the worst I’ve experienced. The room was advertised as having two beds, but upon arrival there was only one bed and a pull out couch. My request for early check-in was an epic fail. I was told at 11:30 the room was currently being cleaned; didn’t receive a call from the hotel until 7 minutes prior to our original scheduled check-in time.
Parking - not enough characters left in this review to remotely cover my disgust with the parking situation. Apparently this hotel expects all guests to arrive in ONE vehicle and there are ZERO accommodations or alternative parking options for their guests when there’s more than one vehicle. RIDICULOUS!!! The staff was cold and didn’t seem to want to truly help resolve any issues to make our experience better.
For $400+ a night —- I expect far more for my money. Instead, I received semi rude customer service, a lack of accommodations (no extra parking, no fridge, microwave or ice bucket in the room). No extra blankets in the room for the additional bed (I mean pull out couch with a HORRIBLE mattress.) A jacuzzi tub that still had cookie crumbs on it from the guests who stayed in the room before us. And the bathroom grout = disgusting; clearly this is due to the water that backs up when the shower is running.
This hotel clearly hides behind the word “historic” in order to charge their guests ridiculous prices for subpar rooms that offer little to no amenities. Save yourself the trouble - book elsewhere!
