Staying at The Pera Palace is an experience in and of itself...a level of pride and service that is unforgettable.. I would travel 6 thousand miles just to stay there...and you have the beautiful city of Istanbul all around you. I would recommend this wonderful and historic hotel to everyone! Highly recommend this hotel. The living history here is amazing. Both the front desk staff and the Concierge were extremely helpful. We loved seeing the Agatha Christie room. The Pera area is very exciting too. Great restaurants all around. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful old property. Unique history. Nicely located. Obviously dated it’s been there since 1892. But they’ve done a good job of keeping things up. Breakfast buffet looked good, but we never ate it. Staff were quite helpful all good.

If you're traveling to Istanbul, this is the place to stay. Period. Excellent location, walkable and plenty of taxis/ubers. Extremely intelligent and helpful staff. A hotel with a history - in some areas a museum. Definitely come for drinks or tea here if you're not staying but really, this is where you should stay.

The breakfast was terrific. We stayed in the Jacqueline Kennedy suite. Filled with Kennedy memorabilia even for one originally from John’s birthplace. The hotel is a grand old dame. Worth a visit in a very busy and fun area filled with night life. Istanbul is a fascinating city of history and modernity. Go you’ll be surprised especially if from the U.S. or Canada.
