Impossible to find this place under the Best Western trade name. Google Maps and Apple Maps have not been updated. Challenging on a cold and foggy Canberra night. Receptionist was lovely, but the ice machine was broken and everything looked like it could do with a good clean and a coat of paint. Room was large and comfortable.

We had booked the 3 bedroom family unit downstairs, but unfortunately we were disappointed with our room. (maybe other rooms have been upgraded or in better condition). The outside of the buidlings and courtyard area look well maintained and asthetically beautiful looking. The beds were quite comfy, the linen clean & crisp, so this was a good point. But the unit had a terrible musty smell, the carpets were stained, the lounge suites were not in good condition with sagging arms, the cleaners evidently hadnt cleaned under cushions for some time, nor under the lounges either, as we needed to move them so that my mum with a walker & mobility issues could move around. The bathroom was large & spacious, but could do with an upgrade as grouting & silicon deteriorating. The Washer & dryer were very handy but also very nosiy. The Kitchen had basic amenties that suited our needs. The taps over sink in kitchen & basin in bathroom need some attention as dripped. The chairs and stools were way too large for the room and size of the table, they do not suit this environment as didnt go under table & made movement around the unit difficult, and they are not the original chairs that would have been there. Overall way too much furniture. This was our 10th & 11th night on the road from interstate, and every other place we stayed have been excellent. I did mention some of our concerns to the staff on checkout but didnt really get much of a response of any sort of interest.

Our stay over the (very) busy weekend for the Spilt Milk festival was excellent. Clean room with sufficient cooking amenities, and we had 2 bathrooms to share across the 4 of us which was great. Parking was included and there was plenty of spaces. Pool (albeit quite cold) was lovely and although we did not utilise the gym it was clean and private from view of the pool. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay and for the price, we would absolutely book here again.
