Great central location (close to restaurants and grocery store). Room was clean & quiet and staff both friendly and helpful. Hot-tubs outside are great, offering nice views of the mountains. Can open window in room for fresh air, and the room itself did not have a smell/odor (both nice). Coffee is good (tad weak but still good), and although I liked the stainless steel coffee flask, it invariably dripped all over the place when pouring after brewing (so you need to pour over the sink). Didn't love the water controls for the sink and tub (hard to pull on), but that's a minor thing. For parking, had to give license plate to cover parking fees at city's paid lots (easy) - we ended up just parking a few blocks away, in free parking, to avoid any potential problems with that parking arrangement. Happy with the stay and would stay again.

We had a lovely short stay at Whistlers Inn after arriving in Jasper on the Rocky Mountaineer. The location was incredibly convenient — being directly across from the station was perfect after a long day on the train, especially with luggage! Our room was lovely, comfortable and charmingly decorated, and it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing evening. We enjoyed dinner nearby before heading back for a really good night’s sleep. We had an early start the next morning for a one-way tour to Banff, so unfortunately didn’t have much time to explore Jasper or make the most of the hotel, but for a short overnight stay it was absolutely ideal. Short and sweet, but comfortable, convenient and welcoming. We’d happily stay here again if we return to Jasper.

Location, location, location! Great hotel in the heart of Jasper. Hotel staff were super helpful. Parking was a little tight but thankfully we had a smaller vehicle. Rooftop jacuzzi was a nice plus after a long day hiking.
