We stayed in two places. One of the “iconic “ cottages on the water. Amazing views. The cottage needs an update. It was really big as well. We also stayed at an inner cabin and it was fabulous. Up to date and really nice. Service response was amazing. It is a special spot.

Overall we are so satisfied with our stay at Eliassen Rorbuer. Fantastic location and could not be more authentic to the region. The only remark we have is that the sauna was in use during our stay, which should have added another layer to our experience. Can very much recommend Eliassen Rorbuer for anyone interested in visiting Lofoten. We will definitely come back!

Room was clean and spacious. However, pay the little extra money for the beautiful Mountain View! To be honest that’s what makes it special. Had to sit outside in rain to enjoy view. We had a superior double and couldn’t upgrade room because sold out, which I totally understood. Also, no place to get a drink until restaurant opened at 1800, so we decided to go to Anita’s seafood which was amazing. Can’t comment on breakfast because we chose to eat elsewhere.
