The location was great. Close to the Laguna. Close to Centro. All walking distance. A short drive to any other activities. The only thing that could improve was the mattress and pillow. But other than that, everything else was great!

Mi experiencia en el Hotel María María Bacalar fue muy mala. La habitación no se parecía a las fotografías, había una plaga de hormigas, el lugar estaba sucio y tenía un olor desagradable. Lo más grave ocurrió cuando salí de la habitación. Mientras mi esposa se estaba bañando y se encontraba completamente desnuda, un empleado del hotel abrió la puerta e intentó ingresar sin nuestro consentimiento. Mi esposa se sintió profundamente vulnerada y violentada por esta situación. Al reportar lo sucedido, acudí a presentar la denuncia correspondiente. Sin embargo, la gerente del hotel se negó a proporcionarme el nombre del empleado involucrado o a colaborar para esclarecer los hechos, lo que aumentó nuestra preocupación e indignación. La limpieza, la seguridad y el respeto a la privacidad de los huéspedes son aspectos fundamentales. Lamentablemente, en nuestra experiencia, el hotel falló gravemente en todos ellos. No recomendaría este lugar y hotels deberia no recomendarlo a ningun huesped.
