Enjoying the hot tub after a busy day at pictured rocks was great. The bed was comfortable. The shower/bathroom was very nice. The deluxe breakfast was well done. My only complaint is the pleather chairs need replacement in room 230. This would be an easy fix. Other than this minor detail, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was not maintained. They were out of a lot of items. When we checked out the person at the front desk said people came up to complain all morning that it was not maintained and she told them she wasn’t in charge of breakfast. Room was clean and there was a cute, but expensive gift shop in the lobby.

Nice property and well maintained. You can tell the owner and staff take pride in the facility. It's an older facility but well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The day counter staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. The evening person, not so much. She seemed annoyed that she had to make popcorn and cookies for the guests. Nothng was done on time and she bordered on being rude with the guests about the timing of the popcorn and cookies. The spa area could use some updating. the sauna is not functional. The breakfast was quite a spread with many selections, it was well done. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend this property.

I loved the hot tub and how friendly most of the staff was. Especially one of the older ladies at the check in she was very kind and helpful. I also loved how there was always delicious free freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and popcorn. I thought too that the gift shop in the hotel was super cute. I did however have mixed feelings on the way you had to request fresh towels, cleaning and your beds being remade etc. I understand them not wanting to bother the customers but I also never thought it was hard to hang the do not disturb on your room door.

Nice hotel in Newberry. The staff were very kind especially Ashley. She made sure to get my note on hotels.com and then take care of my room. Then was very helpful the next day.Perfect location to travel to Munsing and Tahquamenon falls. Washer and dryer on-site does work thats a bonus. Free popcorn. A small gift shop. Id highly recommend this place.

Great motorcycle stop!!

This is a very nice place to stay and explore the U.P. You can go visit many of the great sights from this location, and still get back to the hotel before it gets too dark. They even have motorcycle cleaning towels by the front door!! We plan to return another time and do more exploring!!

Terrible place. Stay in Mackinaw city or Munising

I have experience of many Comfort Inn and this one is the worst which cannot match the brand of "Comfort Inn". They offered me a non-smoking room. However, it smelled like cigar or weed and I was not sure. Since it was very cold outside at night, I had to stay the whole night with the smoke, barely went to sleep. In Newberry, there is not much choice for you to find a decent place. So my conclusion is that you'd better to stay in Mackinaw city or Munising if your aim is to take a tour at Pictured Rock from southern Michigan.
