La Chinesca, Mexico's largest Chinatown, serves up a fascinating blend of Chinese and Mexican cultures in the heart of Mexicali. Red pagoda-style gates welcome visitors to streets where aromas of five-spice powder mix with Mexican chilies. The neighborhood features secret underground tunnels built during Prohibition, markets selling jade, herbs, and handmade crafts, and the notable House of Culture.
Family-run restaurants dish out must-try fusion creations like chop suey tacos and Cantonese-style seafood. Though accommodations are limited within La Chinesca itself, central Mexicali hotels make convenient home bases. This property was very private and secluded people would never know that you’re there. The room was very spacious very clean rooms where up-to-date and very well-maintained
My husband and I ordered dinner from room service and food was amazing. We’ll definitely stay again.
From the moment we checked in, I was amazed at the incredible staff, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with anything you would want.
Alejandro has great customer service. Always with good attitude and willing to help. Hotel has a great location . Only thing they can improve is having the "do not disturb " sign to hang at the doors. Stayed 2 nights and both times went and knocked the door at 10am really loud and open the door
Very nice and clean place to stay with no disturbances I totally recommended. When I arrived the motel was totally booked and there was 15 min. But because I had a reservation thru hotels.com they pass me in rigth a way.
