We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, we were a group of four families and we all agree we DO NOT recommend staying here.
First the not bad… the rooms are ok, being suites, they have a little fridge, stovetop and are relatively good rooms. The location is great, walkable distance from Chicago’s main attractions.
The bad… the service is terrible, all the staff seem to be in a hurry and they’re clearly are understaffed. Perhaps because of this they are also in a bad mood, but we barely got a smile from main desk, kitchen o elsewhere.
The hotel announces they have cribs available, don’t trust that… we traveled with 2 babies and since like 2 months before asked for cribs and they told us they have some but on a first come first serve basis… you guessed, not even one crib for our group.
Another terrible thing that happened to us: we had a very sad personal thing happen in the family while we were there, some of our friends send us gifts as a surprise and they were delivered in the front desk but they never told us about it and then the next day they told us they had thrown them away because they thought it was food and they throw that if it stays overnight 😤
Even though it’s supposed to be a hotel, they do not clean the from while you’re staying there unless it’s for more than 5 nights, so the trash accumulated, there were bad smells and we were supposed to clean our own room for our entire stay.
