Our room was clean and everything worked. We had one of the few ensuite rooms. It's spacious, it's an old, tired, once majestic hotel. The staff were helpful, the meals were great.

Another enjoyable stay at The Royal. Beautiful food as always, drinks nice and cold. Weather wasn't too shabby, considering the time of the year. Highly recommended for someone wanting a quick stay in the heart of the Wimmera. 👍

It’s budget for a reason, but I got exactly what I expected except heating/cooling. I still think that should be a minimum regardless of price.. Foid in front bar was brilliant! Wish the opened for breakfast!

More than acceptable accommodation for the cost. Food was awesome. Had the mixed grill.

Staff are lovely. Perfect for a stop-over on a long-distance drive, however it's a basic rooming-house feel. Rooms and bathrooms urgently need an update.

I felt safe when I stayed, and couldn’t find anyone else cheaper in Horsham. The building is spectacular but the conditions need to be considered. I suggest to stay one night first and think if stay longer.
