This hotel was great. I was offered that if I signed up to Radisson club there was 10% food discount during the stay but only when I left did I realise this wasn’t applied to my final bill so that was disappointing. All other aspects were great. The staff and restaurant were excellent and breakfast was amazing.

Service level 5/5 - A new trendsetter for greece?

We had a wonderful 2-nights stay, and i must say that the service in this hotel is of really high standard, compared to what we have experienced elsewhere in Greece. Extremely people at the reception desk, as well as the portier and parking valey personnel. The room was nice and clean, and quite spacious. Great roofbar and restaurant. Breakfast was by far the best and most various I have experienced in Greece, what a delight. The staff asked for my daughters name the first morning, and rememberred it the next - this is the small things that gives a 5-star review in my book. :-) As for the hotel - it is in a great neighbourhood, beautiful park just across the street, and the Akropolis is in walking distance. A perfect match for our wishes.

Excellent for my birthday night

My trip was disturbed because I was not feeling well, but when I checked in I got upgraded to a premium room with free breakfast on my birthday. It’s my first time trying Radisson Blu chain hotel and I will deffo try it next time! The swimming pool and sauna room is very good too

I highly recommend Radisson Blu. The Hotel is uniquely situated bedside a major park and museums, with a 360 view of Athens, including the Acropolis. The pool and bar, recently renovated, offer a luxurious experience of great service, comfort, and relaxation. The rooms are esthetically very pleasing with modern facilities, Nespresso machine, and great views (if requested). The front desk staff are highly attentive, professional, and helpful. The only problem I encountered was inconsistent and often late housekeeping services and technical services (the phones did not work and were not fixed).

I liked that management allowed me to go to my room at 2:00 instead of 3:00. However, I felt the room was substandard to say the least. The view from my bedroom was that of delapidated third world country. The room had half a roll of toilet paper, no tissues, and the toilet had an inside water leak all night. The water pot and coffee maker was permanently attached to a tall cabinet making it impossible for me to make a cup of coffee. There were two long black nails coming out of the ceiling where apparently there used to be hanging lights. There is a marble tile missing from underneath the bathroom sink. I was very disappointed.

Excellent experience under hard conditions

We were travelling with six adults and two infants in the middle of one of Europes most severe heat waves. We had remarkable service from all of the staff of the hotel we interacted with, they were totally looking after us and our needs given the condition very pro-actively. Even when our flight was delayed some hours we were, again, totally looked after and all with a smile. Well done Radisson Park, Athens. Thank you! Brendan

Careless room safety

Hotel forgot to deactivate the previous guests access to the room and they tried to come in there late at night. Very scary as we were traveling with my mom who is 83 years old. Also, after finally falling asleep, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. all the front desk and say is sorry

I cannot be persuaded that this is a 5-star hotel. The outside of the building is quite old. The rooftop pool is fully under renovation and cannot be used at all. There is a small gym with no window. The sauna and hammam are good. The breakfast is limited in choice. The whole neighborhood seems not quite safe or clean.

Overall it’s a mediocre hotel. When booking we expected it to be a 5 start hotel with a nice pool and great services. Once we arrived , we have discovered that the pool closes very early. We also asked for one queen bed but ended up getting 2 twins put together. When it was brought up to the attention of the hotel stuff, they were not able to do much about it. There were so many other little things throughout our stay. I have to say it is not a 5 star hotel in my opinion.

Bottle of Champagne in room. Wanted to take to rooftop pool area because room was facing an interior light well! Roof top had a bar and restaurant! They would not let us drink our wine on the roof so we gave it back and ordered from the bar! Would not let us sign to room!. Said we did not give CC for extras! No one asked for it! Then the waitress wanted to argue about it?!!!! We left feeling not welcome!!

Athens in summer

Good location, 5 mins from metro station. Slightly away from busy hustle and bustle of the main eating and shopping areas. Around a 30 minute walk to the main tourist area e.g. acropolis. Staff friendly and helpful. Room well equipped and modern. Great shower. Very effective air conditioning. Breakfast is a good option. Continental and buffet style. Would stay here again.

Very expensive food. Very noisy from outside noise. First room was opposite a block of flats with an alarm going off constantly on the first night. With my vip access I had to ask for the room upgrade which turned out wasn’t an upgrade it was exactly the same as the first room we were in with a view of trees and a dirty street. Felt unsafe around the hotel. Hotel lobby was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was good. Pool was good but quite limited sitting areas. Seems they just concentrated on the lobby and swimming area and forgot about the rest of the hotel. Gym was tired and equipment was old. Just not sure how this has got the rating of a 5 star hotel. 3/4 star at best!

Hôtel très bien dans l'ensemble.

La chambre au 8eme étage était très confortable, et très agréable. La nourriture du petit déjeuner était parfaite. La piscine est petite, mais passable pour une trempette. Seul bémol, l'hôtel aurait besoin d'un peu de rafraichissement pour être au standard des grands hôtels. Aussi, attention à la propreté de la salle de bain qui pourrait être mieux.
