Best place to stay for a bicycle&onsen trip

Staying at Kona Stay to start a bicycle trip is the best choice. The staff was great, very helpful, lot of recommendations and easy to talk with. The dormitory was very clean and calm. The onsen was also clean and very welcome after a long day. The atmosphere in the hotel is great, I will definitely come again for my next trip to Izu.

Comfortable

The hotel provides parking and cost 1000yen per night. The parking is next to hotel and few minutes walk. The receptionist can speak English and we had a great small talk. The room is Japanese style, plenty of amenities provided including two bottle of waters. My room is on second floor and no lift.

The parking lot is a bit far. It's best to ask the staff for directions. The hotel has been renovated from an old property, and the beds have been installed instead of being on the floor. This is a great change, and the room is very spacious. There were not many guests, so my daughter and I had the hot spring to ourselves, which was a pleasant experience. The hot spring water is of very good quality and flows directly from the source. The breakfast selection is moderately varied and delicious. And it was not crowded.

人生初めてドミトリーを利用しました。 数名同室だったようですが、静かでした。また、胡坐をかくぐらいの高さがあるのでそれほど圧迫感はありませんでした。ベッドのカーテンを閉めると暑くて息苦しさを感じたので、夜中は開けて冷房を利かせて寝ました。 旅館自体は新しく清潔、風呂もよかったので総合的にお買い得だと思いました。次回は電動自転車レンタルやってみたいです。

停車場約走100公尺，建議先到飯店下行李再去停車，住宿挺舒服就是下雨隔音較差，沒有電梯需要自行扛行李上二樓，廁所的淋浴間關不緊，洗完澡出來地板淹水，又沒有地排，花了不少時間清理地板，但有自助洗衣服務，只要花少少的錢就能洗衣服挺方便，附近沒有什麼店家可以吃飯，需要事先預訂，算是很安靜得小鎮。

建物自体はおそらく古いけど、リノベーションされてて、部屋などはキレイ。今回はドミトリー利用でしたが、ベッドにいても苦痛にならないほど広かった。安全のために24時間電気をつけたままらしく、それでもベッド毎にあるカーテンを閉じれば、明るさとかは気にならなかった。共用のトイレ、温泉ともにマメに掃除などのチェックがあるらしく、従業員とすれ違うことも多かった。温泉で女性用から男性従業員が出てこられたのには、ちょっと驚いてしまった。数名入浴中だったこともあり、そこのチェックは女性の方に担当してもらいたいな、と思った。朝ごはんも美味しく、栄養バランスも大変良い。ドリンクバーや焚き火バーもあり、泉質もよく、是非また利用したいと思った。周辺が少し廃れてる感じがするのが、残念なところ。
