Nipponbashi
Osaka and related destinations
Between the neon-lit Dotonbori district and majestic Osaka Castle lies a city that takes food more seriously than most nations take foreign policy. The covered arcades of Nipponbashi offer everything from manga to electronics, while locals debate which street vendor makes the definitive takoyaki. Universal Studios Japan delivers theme park thrills, but the real adventure happens at Kuromon Market where vendors slice fish with surgical precision. The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan houses whale sharks in tanks so vast you'll question your place in the universe. After dark, join salary men unwinding over kushikatsu – deep-fried skewers that demand respect for the 'no double-dipping' rule.

Candeo Hotels Osaka The Tower
"This place is incredible. The breakfast is incredible. The rooftop onset is incredible. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Don’t hesitate, just book it."
APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower
"Great hotel, 40 floors so a very big hotel. Right next to a metro station and also bus station. Super easy to walk across and get the limousine bus to Kansai airport, excellent price too. Breakfast is impressive, all different tastes catered for. A little further out of town but very easy to get to on metro from Osaka station. Rooms are quite petit and sadly bed quilt felt a little itchy."
Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba
"Toyoko Inn provides laundromat and dryer services just within their hotel, as well as free complimentary breakfast and 24/7 coffee/tea available with your stay. The staff are always welcoming and helpful in assisting with any issues faced — whether it be concerning the hotel or my itinerary for the day, they were able to assist with my queries the best they could. The rooms themselves were okay, as the space of the room made it quite cramped to walk around. The bed mattress was very hard, and the pillows were too soft, so there were some nights where I woke up with a strained neck and shoulders. Otherwise, it was an overall great stay :)."
BRACKETS HOTEL Osaka Hommachi
"It is closed to the train station"
The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka Midosuji
"Clean hotel, plenty of useful amenities (washing and drying room on floor, ice machine and gym). Breakfast was expensive but there is a lovely place near by and a seven 11 if all else fails."
Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA
"2nd time staying at this hotel. If you want easy access, this is a good one. You can get to the bus terminal from the hotel even in the rain without getting wet or hop on an airport train as well."
The Royal Park Canvas - Osaka Kitahama
"Fantastic hotel, but poor location for tourist."
Sotetsu Grand Fresa Osaka - Namba
"It’s very close to dotonbori. We love facial moisturizer included. Hair curler was available. Room is small but clean"
