It was okay. The main reason I booked it was for the outdoor pool. It was closed the entire stay. Only gave us 2 towels and 1/4 roll of toilet paper. Had to wait close to 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. Was unaware ahead of time there was a $100 fee on top of paying for the room but that could have been an oversight of mine. It’s more like a glorified motel than what I’m used to from the Sonestas I’ve stayed at in Low Country

While the place was clean and comfortable, it did not meet our expectations. I chose to stay at this particular hotel for the kitchen and pool. The kitchen is adequately sized but severely lacking in cookware and the pool was so tiny it was crowded at all times. The breakfast was touted as buffet-like but in our 4 night stay never saw more than the average cereal and coffee. Sunday breakfast had a waffle maker but I wouldn’t call that “buffet”.
