Whilst the location is good and the staff very helpful the hotel is in need of a face lift. Carpet in area around lift was thread bare and lifting. We were "upgraded" to a room with peeling paint in the bathroom and very badly scratched floor and a tiny skylight window - hate the think what we were upgraded from!

As a solo traveler, the room had enough room for one. Good thing I was one. My stay was wonderful. The staff were always so polite and helpful; a real joy. Breakfast was healthy, plentiful, and delicious. I always felt safe, everything was clean, and my room was quiet if I closed the window. (There was a slight industrial noise outside all night, but a closed window took care of it.) Never before have I given a hotel high stars for eco-friendly, but this one deserved it. Well done!

Half great, half awful We were in a “queen size” bed room, but the bed was pushed up flush against the wall in the corner. The room was so small we were unable to lay our two carry on bags open on the floor. But, the breakfast (we paid extra) was fabulous and worth every penny. The breakfast was really good, We stayed for 4 days. The location was so convenient, I wish we knew the direct access to the hotel from the train station ahead of time but finding it after exiting the station was easy using google maps directions. There were lots of restaurants close by, opera house was walking distance. The room was spacious for 4 people and we will stay again next time. The only things I would request was for more english channels on their tv.
