When we first arrived at midnight on Saturday we were greeted by a delightful lady named………the hotel lobby was very pretty and they have their own gated parking lot which was nice. Overall: Yes, recommended. Con’s: Not a place to take a walk after dark. Shallow amenities (microwave, fridge, breakfast). Daytime clerk was curt when we called to inquire. Pro’s: Very safe, secured gated parking and card key room. Quiet. Lobby fresh and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room clean for the most part. Night clerk, Anthony, very polite, professional, and incredibly helpful regarding places to see and eat. Short drive to the French Quarter. You get what you pay for. Our rating is largely based on security and proximity, NOT the amenities.
